Clump — also called a packaging clip, strap clip or seal — is the small metal fastener used to lock a patti strap in place once it's wrapped around a carton or bundle, or to seal a bora sack shut. It's a small part, but packing goes nowhere without it once the strapping is on.
Every hosiery unit and factory that straps cartons with patti or seals bora sacks needs a steady supply of clump — it's a consumable that gets used up with every single package sealed, so most of our buyers order it in bulk alongside their patti and bora rather than separately.
We supply clump in bulk to match whatever volume of patti strapping or bora sealing your packaging line runs through. If you're setting up strapping for the first time, we can also advise on the right patti-and-clump combination for your carton size and weight.
Kala Packaging has supplied packaging clips and other packaging material in Ludhiana since 1992. Alongside clump, we stock corrugated boxes, bora, tat, patti and rope — everything needed for industrial packaging and hosiery packaging material in one place.
