Bora — known formally as a sack or gunny sack — is used as outer packaging wrapped around corrugated boxes and loose bundles to protect them during loading, transport and handling. In Ludhiana's hosiery and industrial packaging trade, wrapping a cartoon box in bora before dispatch is standard practice for anything travelling any real distance.
We supply two variants: Plain White Bora for standard-duty outer wrapping, and Bora with Brown Stripes (Heavy Duty) for loads that face rougher handling or longer transit — hosiery exporters and factories sending goods outstation typically choose the heavy-duty striped bora for the added durability.
Hosiery units, general factories and transporters across Ludhiana buy bora from us in bulk to wrap cartons before they leave the warehouse. Once the bora is on, it's usually sealed shut with a clump (packaging clip) or tied with rope — both of which we also stock.
Kala Packaging has supplied packaging material in Ludhiana since 1992, including bora, corrugated boxes and every other packaging carton and material a factory or hosiery unit needs. We sell in bulk at reasonable rates, and no order is too small or too large for us to fulfil. Call or WhatsApp us to check current stock and pricing.
